PRINCE2 Foundation course covers the basics of well known British standard for projectmethod of Office of Government Commerce. The aim of the training is making a candidatefamiliar with the method as well as preparing to the Foundation exam that can be sat after thecourse. After successful exam a candidate is given an international PRINCE2 Foundationcertificate as registered in the APM Group Ltd. successful candidate for this method.This course has been accredited by the APMG who are the examining body for PRINCE2 andare responsible for all aspects of the provision of exams including setting, marking, feedbackand appeals. PRINCE2 is a trademark of Office of Government Commerce registrered in UK and othercountries

Purpose of the training

To enable a candidate to pass Foundation exam successfully and after become an effectivemember of project teamThe course covers the syllabus for the PRINCE2 Foundation exam.

Who should attend

The training will be a guidance for Project Managers, Team Managers, Assurance, teammembers but also Project Board members responsible for directing a project.

Initial requirements for the candidates

No formal requirements – some observations, initial experiences with projects will be a help.Candidates are requested to read several chapters of the PRINCE2® Manual and do pre-coursework that is delivered 2 weeks before the classroom training. This will contribute to successfulexam.

Day 3:

  • Change (the theme) (plus Configuration Management)
  • Controlling a Stage – (the process) part 2 /issue handling/
  • Progress (the theme)

PRINCE2 Foundation exam consists of 75 questions and lasts 60 minutes. You must get 50% of the marks in order to pass and proceed with the other exams. This exam is taken at the end of day 3 of thecourse.
